Drinking beautifully. Smooth. Well-integrated tannins with moderate acidity and not a single sharp edge. Supple flavors of dark fruit, tobacco, wood. Decanted for an hour and kept getting better. Wish I had more

Lovely complex nose of dried fruit and herbs. Opened bottle for about an hour prior to dinner. Cherry still is present with smoky herbs, spice and a little tobacco. Tannins a little bit forward for about the first 15 or 20 minutes but not unpleasant. They settled in quickly and became nicely balanced. The finish was long. Wonderful pairing with cassoulet.
I think this is clearly at its peak ( or possibly on the downward side of the curve) so I wouldn’t sit on any remaining bottles.

Thanksgiving 2021 at Papendorf’s. Drank from Bin south 8. Spice oak nose. Dark purple color. Full even body dry soft oak finish and hint of cherry. Nice mature Boudreau blend. 8/10.

Same story as last bottle. Okay has gone down hill a little. Acids, fruit and tannins start out balanced, but not very interesting. Air helps to a point and then down hill fairly quickly.
