Peach, lime, cashew, shale minerality, enough length. Brilliant every vintage, kinda wish I had the patience to put some away as it does get fractionally better with another 5+ years, but it’s so good young.

Second go with this producer after having had the glou glou-styled PN earlier in 2023. This one, pure Chardonnay, did not disappoint although - to be frank - it is a terrace wine, versatile, fresh & non-complex. Straw-yellow, shiny in appearance. Tacit nose w vague hints of citrus, barrel spice, flowers. Palate slightly more peachy, anorectic, flinty w ample acidity, brisk minerality, fine-tuned flavours as per nose, linear & slightly tedious, finishing on a dry-lemony, mineral-driven note. Well, 85p, c’est tout.
Wow, this delivers a lot for the price. Pale gold and crystal clear. Flinty, lime, struck match, a bit of roast nut. Wonderful mouthferl, rich with a good acidic zing. Stone fruit, lemon, almond. Excellent length.

Lunch with the wine ark boys (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Pretty peachy fruit, a little sweet spice, very slight struck match, simple, pretty nose. Tangy, juicy, quite lean and linear, a touch of unripe peach, citrus with a slight rasp.
