Clear, light-ruby color. Aromas of baked fig & cranberry, mulled spices, mushroom & earth, cedar, and rose hips. Nice open red fruit on the palate, with densely layered spices, mineral and earth along the mid-palate. Medium-plus acid, silky-fine tannin, lingering finish- juicy and dry. Excellent.

Popped and poured right out of 55 degree cellar. Dried cherry and strawberry, crushed rocks. Refreshing acidity and a lighter body than other Sta Rita reds. Might let this sit before I try the next bottle. The minerality really stands out, makes it a pretty refreshing summer wine when served <60F.
