Translucent ruby color. Drank this a bit too cold, it could have used a short decant. Unfortunately brought it to a bbq so no luck. The nose was refreshing, a combination of red cherry, moss, smoke, wet earth, maybe a hint of mushroom, but fruit forward. Palate had more cherry, earth, freshness. A nice pairing with grilled bbq pork and vegetables.

Color is deep garnet with hints of brown. Nose is still delicious, a mix of boysenberry/red fruit, cedar, prunes, forest fire smoke, game. Palate is medium bodied but still massively tannic, this has legs to last and is still almost too drying. On palate, red fruits, cedar, game. Perhaps a bit lacking on the palate in power but still very nice. Good pairing with lamb, but insanely good pairing with mushroom soup. A wine that needs food. From the cellar at Restaurant Michel Guerard.

Green yellow hay color. Served chilled. On first pour, nose is fresh with pear, white peach, creamy honey, honeysuckle, light citrus, truffle, maybe a hair of grated parmesan. The palate is medium bodied, fresh, but fully integrated. Fresh stone fruit, pear, some oxidative notes leading to a hair of bitterness on the finish (not in a bad way). May have lost some definition on the palate with age, I’d say it’s just coming off peak. But drinking beautifully. Really nicely paired with French seafood plates with some white sauces (beurre blanc over red snapper with uni, etc.). Tried out of the cellar at Restaurant Michel Guerard.
