Lovely. Kiss of oak, some honey, turning to butterscotch, sweet fruit, touch of matchstick, well integrated (but necessary) acidity. A deft touch and makes me think of what California Chardonnay can be, avoiding heaviness, but still retaining a sense of place.

This is a rather dry, moderate fruit wine with thick tannins. My sense is that it is past its window or possibly too early. It might develop other more tertiary notes and sweet tannins. I’m getting a little sour cherry and bitterness. Not up to the usual CS.

Drinking quite nicely, medium fruit - aside from a tannic streak not really that much like typical WS. Quite enjoyable - would drink up.
