Very nice. Usually at this price I’m disappointed. But not this time. Despite still being a bit young, this wine is very drinkable. I intend to shell out for a few more bottles to see how it matures and evolves over the next several years. Nonetheless, right now, it’s exceptionally well balanced and layered enough to produce a surprisingly soft yet complex, full palate pleasure. Cheers

Mediocre. Vapid, one dimensional (decently integrated first hit on the palate of muted fruit and forward minerality) with essentially no finish to speak of. It’s as if the vintner was aiming for a sublime Burgundy style Chardonnay but totally screwed the pooch.
I bought this at my local Bottle King because it was radically reduced in price from the mid $40s to the high teens. At the same price point (about $20) one can do much better, e.g., J Chardonnay, Wente (Riva Ranch, not Morning Fog) and Sonoma Cutrer, to name only a few.
Cheers.

Save yourself 30 bucks and get the garden-variety Paul Hobbs RRV Chardonnay. At least in the near term.
