Drinking well right now. Fully integrated tannins and oak. Excellent left bank Bordeaux from a hot vintage.

My first bottle of the 2009 Eloge. Drank tonight with USDA prime ribeye steak prepared on our charcoal grill. No formal notes. Just a wonderful, full-bodied steak wine. Terrific fruit and length. Refreshing acidity. Sweet integrated tannns. No noticeable oak. Can’t wait to open another of these.

5/13/2013 6:48:00 PM - Hi Wink. Just peeked at your cellar. It looks like we have very similar tastes and many common wines, and I have drunk many of the missing producers such as G.D. Vajra. I really like your Napa stuff. I used to have a lot of Napa, but have curtailed much of my buying, as the prices have jumped so much. More WA wines these days, and my cellar is now full so only high quality replacements, along with a small qpr supplies as cellar defenders. The size of our cellars is almost spot on.
