Striking bronze-gold colour. Sea spray, stone fruit pits and phenolic elements on the nose. The palate is for a natural wine of this magnitude relatively smooth and harmonic. Tangy mouth covering minerality accompanies you with every sip from the early beginning to the very end of the long lasting finish. For a 12 year old wine it presents it selves still very fresh due to its ample acidity albeit youthful fruit flavours are almost entirely replaced with mature notes of umami. Delish.

Tannins are half way integrated, still very youthful. Looking towards a peak drinking window around 2027-2032. Should have enough stuffing to make it that far.

Best producers are located near the Bench area which is close to the Niagara peninsula featuring slightly higher elevation and a gentle slope.
