Pale garnet color. Nose is faint but I get floral notes, strawberries, dust, cedar and wet earth. Tastes of tart cherry and strawberry, but there is some citrus and a lot of burnt wood flavor on the finish. The floral aroma, citrus and a bitterness from the wood combine to suggest bergamot. Still noticeable tannins. The fruit is appealing but delicate and a little overshadowed by the oak. Not bad, not great.

Muted merlot red fruit flavors with some tobacco and gravel. Decent balance. Not much aroma. Short finish. Passable but not distinguished, a bit disappointing for a high reputation property.

Ruby color, medium body. Nose is mostly plums and twigs. Tastes of blackberries, plums, cranberries, tart cherries, some spice, some forest floor, some wood. Says 14.5% alcohol but feels lighter. Still lots of tannins. Nice wine to pair with meat or acidic tomato-based sauce. Cellar another 2+ years.
