From a 375 and consistent with prior notes. This is just starting to be ready. This is a big wine with a lot of fruit, but is restrained and elegant. There is a wall of fine tannin here that is still breaking down. No doubt, a classic wine that is likely to continue to improve.

4/27/2010 8:20:00 PM - Hey Matt-Looks like we were at the same tasting on Friday at Bell's. I was logging the wine I bought and saw your notes. You aren't as taken by Rossignol as me I guess. These were some of my first red Burgundy's though. Bell's is dangerous so close to my office-Regards, Bill

I have opened a number of these and this was the best by far. High acid, firm tannin. Lots of cherry notes and good complexity.

This has classic Boal character. Medium-bodied with relatively high acid and a long finish. Improved over a month. This is a great wine.
