11/21/2015 9:28:00 AM - Geoff, I have very little experience with old Leeuwin Chardonnay Art Series, or Australian Chardonnay in general. I recall I once had a great older Leeuwin (1981 vintage) and see it was a decade ago, and that I thought it easily mistakable for great Burgundy. Margaret River Chardonnay's potential longevity benefits from the climate and Leeuwin is probably the only producer from the region I could easily name off the top of my head. Congrats on that great bottle of 1982.
