Tasted blind. Over ripe dark plums, over ripe blueberries, wild game fat, cedar, tobacco, old leather and star anise on the nose. The fruits have a bit of a preserved/jammy quality Medium + intensity of aromas. Fruit forward on the palate, which adds flavors of raspberry pie and strawberry jam. Medium + intensity of aromas. Feels like it's from a warm climate; thoughit doesn't get too flabby.
Medium + body with medium + acid and medium tannins. Drink now, doens't feel like this is going to benefit from any further aging.
Call - 3-5 year old Côtes du Rhône. I felt great nailing this blind.

This is like the combination of an exceptionally good vin gris and something else that I have no idea about.
Ripe yellow peach, ripe apricots, meyer lemon, white pepper, sesame seed, smoke, cedar wood. Smells rich in a great way, with noticable oak. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate is quite intense and firing on all cylinders right now. The fruit flavors are consistent with the nose; just more intense. They are complimented by flavors of wet stone and lit matchstick. Great bitterness throughout. High intensity of flavors. Lovely 30 second long finish.
Medium body with medium + acid. No perceptible tannins. This is one of the best Pinot Gris' I've had from anywhere. Drink now.

I agree with Stet. Don't touch this for 5-10 years from now. It has the potential to get great!
As it stands now, plastic, ripe white peach, fresh mint, meyer lemon and yuzu on the nose. A bit of yeast/lees as well. Medium + intensity of aromas. Straw, lemon juice, fresh dough, ripe white peach and ripe melon on the palate. The finish is driven by the melons. Only a medium intensity of flavors at this point.
Medium body with medium + acid. This is still developing. Hold for 3 years from now at least; but up to 10.
