Surprisingly lively, and deep red color. Tannins fully resolved and a body on the thinner side, but mellow red fruit that was very pleasant. No longer a “ribeye steak” cab so to speak, but was excellent with braised short ribs.

Fantastic QPR. Some extra-earthy/bell peppery cab franc nose when first opened, but that blew off. Striking deep red color, distinct old world earthiness, and great balance.
