I am a great fan of Gravonia style, which in my view has the best PQR you can find for ANY Spanish wine.
2006 is not as oxydized as other vintages. It has beautiful aromas of wax, honey, almonds and organge peel. Vibrant acidity, medium bodied with a slightly bitter finish. The intriguing style of this wine makes it difficult for me to keep my hands off the bottles I have in my cellar. Have to buy more....
Paired with Sushi, which was not an ideal combination. I think this one should work better with something more complex. The wine kept improving with aireation, so will decant next time.

Intensidad media alta en nariz, fruta negra, pimienta, aceitunas negras, notas terrosas. En boca de nuevo la fruta y especias, notas carnicas y de la barrica. Buena acidez. Taninos bastante presentes aún. Bastante sabroso y largo.

Gracias por la invitación. Pues es que tengo una cena el miércoles. Con tan poco tiempo es un poco complicado. Tendría que marcharme a las 21.00 como muy tarde. Crees que daría tiempo o está demasiado ajustado?

Supongo que igual te ha llegado por otra vía pero no quería dejar de decirte personalmente que el siete de abril a las siete y media en García de la Navarra hay una cata + cena de vinos de Irancy.
Va a ser una cata de aficionados para aficionados y si pudieses me encantaría verte por allí.
