My fourth vintage of this wine, previously 2011, 2013 and 2014. This is still quite young but opens up during our 3-4 hour dinner. Obviously this has a lot in store but at this stage it does not show its full potential. Wait 3-5 years.

To me this wine is too big and too fruity to be a Bourgogne. At first I could have guessed Bordeaux. Give this wine 5-10 years and maybe it will shed its abundant fruit.

Want to try a typical Cathiard? Then you do not have the buy the Malconsort or the Romanee Saint Vivant - this will do just fine. 92-93 pts. Fine to drink now with 2-3 hours in the glass, but why not wait 3-5 years?

11/15/2018 5:13:00 PM - Sundyberg, Thank you for the note re Kosta Browne 2010 Koplen. I gave away that bottle, was removing the bottle from my cellar and accidentally put that score into CT. There should be no TN so I deleted it. Thank you!
2/18/2015 2:13:00 PM - Sundyberg,
Thanks for your recommended bottle. Alas I've never been in Sweden, but I would hardly be tempted by that $6,000 bottle.
10/16/2013 2:49:00 PM - Yes, but I think we communicated via comments on a note by Krugman, so maybe that is why it is missing.
Glad you are following my notes, but be aware that I'm still in the learning process. Lots of fun though.
10/16/2013 2:40:00 PM - I thought we had exchanged messages before, but somehow cT isn't showing use as fan/friends so I sent out another invite. Maybe the big crash wiped some things out. You are now starred in my list of people.
