Wonderful wine. Let breath for 2 hours prior. Lush cherry fruit with tight tannins but not overbearing, long finish and just a great producer. Had on New Years Eve with fresh homemade pasta = perfect combo.

Opened it up and let it breathe thru the bottle for 4 hours. The nose was very muted and was devoid of detecting much. Wine did not show much as it expressed pencil lead, tobacco, cola & very soft tannins and not much in the way of fruit. Wasnt impressed, had a bottle of Stolpman before which was far superior than this. Have another bottle, may not let it open as long next time to see if that will produce more complexity.

Great QPR Pinot. Difficult to find a decent pinot in this price range. Great for everyday drinking, big lush masculine pinot upon opening then fruit does disappear after an hour or or. Most pinots in this price range are thin, devoid of any fruit and just too acidic. This was "nice for the price" and would have no issue serving this to guests.
