Translucent garnet colored, medium viscosity. Beautiful lightly spiced nose, peppery, olives. Smooth, lightly tannic, good balancing acidity, medium finish. Not a fruit bomb - an elegant Shiraz!

Purchased in 2023 from a Hong Kong retailer, on the recommendation of a friend. Unscrewed with a pop of gaseous release, perhaps the loudest I’ve heard out of a wine bottle!
Dark garnet colored, medium viscosity. Earthy nose, some meat and capsicum tones - reminds me of the 2012 Giant Steps Applejack pinot. Some hint of tannin in the mouth, not fully resolved, results in a medium/full bodied mouthfeel, with good acidity giving sour cherries and other blackfruit flavors. Medium plus finish. Interesting wine - on the fuller bodied end of the spectrum of Pinot.
