13.4%. PnP. Translucent, medium-minus ruby color, no sign of age. Expressive nose, creamy sicle, creamy cherry. Impeccably balanced on the palate. Juicy acidity, crisp on tip of tongue. Racy cherries, hint of oak, bit of candied orange. Long juicy finish. A tartness on palate, hint bitter, but faded with new glass. Finish got a bit tart as well as it was open for 45 mins. Outstanding.

Always one of my favorites from AV. Pop and pour, beautiful color. Modest nose. Impeccably balanced on the palate, nice acidity rounding out the fresh fruit. Long juicy finish. Many years ahead of it.

I was a bit conflicted on this wine, first from RM from this vineyard. I've been drinking juice from Bearwallow for years from Rhys, and it's always one of my favorite of their bottles. With TRB at the helm on this one, a little rounder and more fruit-forward than I was expecting...but well within the RM house style which I enjoy. With that said, this is a beautiful wine with many happy years ahead of it.
