8/10/2015 8:29:00 PM - Hey Doni. Bertolami. Quite a few years since we last parachuted into Zurich. However, when we do, we visit Beat. A lot of fun!!! Thanks for tips to the other places. Enjoy your Coravin and let us know your experience.

There are other places such as the Didi's Frieden, the Camino or the Lindenhofkeller which I prefer food-wise. Are you often in Zurich? Best regards, Doni p.s. I hve contacted Coravin. They should indeed pay you a kick-back for your promotion activities :)

3/9/2015 11:31:00 PM - Thanks for your message. I was in the Carlton in Zurich at Paul Liversedge's 2005 Bordeaux Tasting. It's a good moment for tasting the 05's as they're 10 years and the strong tannins of the vintage seem to soften now. Also, Parker will rerate the vintage in April 2015 and is likely to increase the scores on some of them as the ratings for the 05 vintage are still quite low compared to 09 and 10. My winner of the night was the Cos d'Estounel and the Pichon Baron. Of the "cheaper" wines I liked the Leoville Barton, Calon Ségur and the Domaine de Chevalier. Unfortunately, I has no pen so the notes I made on my mobile phone were quite short. In general, the quality was very high so you can look forward to your 11/15 tasting. Let me know what you thought of them after the tasting. Will be interestung to compare the notes.
