    4/14/2019 12:32:00 PM - Happy Birthday Prof B!

6/13/2016 7:22:00 AM - Some seriously good wines in your tasting story where Chris drops by. Sometimes aged Madeira takes multiple days to really open, I tasted a '77 Bual over the course of a few days at a wine shop and I recall about day 3 it was finally "bright". I assume my invite got lost... :)

1/27/2015 9:05:00 AM - I'm not sure there's a writer out there up for that challenge.

1/26/2015 6:58:00 PM - Not questionable, she is a wine writer used to promoting subjectivity and has an obvious agenda / point of view. I am waiting for a Piemonte book which get's into the other wines, B&B get all the press but there is so much more out there.

1/26/2015 4:58:00 AM - Yes, I have read the book and found it interesting. She made some really odd omissions and some of her classifications are questionable. The region has long been in need of a new text though and this is a good start. I just wish she had more experience in the region.

I thought it a good read and wish I had a copy before my travel to the Piemonte last year. Only complaint is that it's too short, but I suspect one could devote their whole life to this region and it's many wines, not just the big B's!
