2014 Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers

Lunch at Le petit sommelier from a presumably well-stored local bottle. It did pour a little golden which had me worried, but opened up beautifully with air. This bottle is fully mature with plenty of complex honey notes integrated with the mature fruit, still fresh and lively, but definitely maturing in fruit profile. More advanced than I would have guessed based upon multiple tasty bottles in the US a few years ago.

It's been 5+ years since my last bottle. This bottle sourced from the domaine and still singing with plenty of fresh, classic Chassagne fruit and medium+ concentration. Very good and well-stored bottles will hold just fine for several years.

A super impressive 2021 with plenty of red fruit stuffing and concentration yet refined with silky tannins. Should drink nicely out of the gate, though showed more ability for aging than I would have guessed (based upon a second pour on day two).
