Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 90 minutes.
Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of thatch, black berries and black raspberries. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

good but not as tasty as last time. I'm beginning to think some wines are better at home than after traveling to a restaurant as well as other factors like wine glasses.
Dark berries galore! Pretty darn good right after opening but improved over time. Tasty as ever from the fellas at KB. A really great wine with great intensity and mid-palate.
Enjoyed with lunch at The Table with Reuben and Smoked Salmon sandwiches to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday.

Overall a good bottle of Pinot - age added some complexity and the alcohol was not as noticeable in this bottle. It worked well with the food and was enjoyable. Bottle 718 of 1164.

Needed 1 hour of air to fully come around; showed a medley of red fruits accented with dark meaty tones that made the wine very intriguing. The best 2008 KB enjoyed to date.

Great 1st impression on the palate with layers of red fruit bombardment, ranging from bramble to cherry and pomegranate, mid palate was fulfilling too, but a disappointingly short finish. Overall this was much better than the 09 RRV pinot.

Bottle 0624 of 1164. Note similar to previous bottle - it was a good bottle of wine. Balanced but maybe a bit high-octane. Decanted briefly with good results.

Great bottle of wine and agree with Winetex on being in a good spot right wine. The wine has plenty of fruit and spice but is starting to evolve into the more earthy components.

Very nice and elegant. Decanted for an hour and drank over the next hour or so. Soft red fruit with baking spice slightly dominating the fruit. The nose much the same with a hint of orange rind. Finish medium plus and soft.

Opened about an hour before serving with a highly-seasoned grilled sirloin steak. In a word: delicious. Not giving up much on the nose. Medium bodied, with lovely red fruit and berry flavors and a lush, almost velvety mouthfeel leading to a lengthy finish. Drinking very nicely now, but no hurry.

High-octane but balanced Pinot. This one could stay in the cellar for a few. Bottle 628 of 1164.

Bottle 622 of 1164. Rather good with balance. Cherry fruited and spicy with a long finish. In its drinking window for my tastes (YMMV).

Tasted at the winery. Some of the wines were recently bottled. Quick notes: black cherry; light in body; bright citrus finish. Very Good.
