At Pazzo in Portland, OR. Served a bit too warm initially, but they gladly let me chill it to my liking (probably about 58F) where it came together much better. Initially a bit of funk on the nose. That diminished and the forefront wad taken by cranberry and violets, with some spice and campfire. Medium in body. The palate delivered spiced cranberry cider, hard candy, and a minerally undertone. The alcohol seemed to burst through a bit on the finish, but otherwise this was quite a fine bottle. 90-91

A little tight, but with aromas of lavender and raspberry with flavors of red fruit and a hint of spice. Nicely balanced with rounded tannins. 7 more bottle to go so I'll see if age improves this. It pairs nicely with pork and other lighter meats.

Good red fruit aromas (red raspberry) with a little hint of smoky meat. On the palette, tangy red raspberry, red plum, with a good balanced acidity. As a fan of acidic wines, this was definitely a decent wine and pares well with pastas and darker fish.

Probably past peak. Small bouquet. Still some cherry with spice on aftertaste. Mellow. Low tannin

Very acidic upon opening. Drinking better the second day, excellent on day 3.

Bright red raspberry, pie cherry and spice. Fullish body and excellent balance start to finish. Leaves you wanting more. Excellent stuff.
