Last chance purchase at the state monopoly store. No telling how it had been stored. Undrinkable. Fizzy, thin, lacking structure or much taste. Would have been better off tossing a $20 bill off a bridge and making a wish. If scoring <70.

Looks like it is soon to be last chance to get something good out of the Torbreck Cuveé Juveniles. Have tasted it a couple of years ago with more power and longer finish. It still gives a good light/medium body experience which is nice too drink (in the wine cellar) without food. The difference to me would have been if the finish lasted longer than 10 sec. and therefore I can´t give it a higher rating (remembered it as a 89-90 points at its top).

Lighter, grenache dominated color. strawberry and rasperry preserves with white pepper on the nose. Palate is very sweet, ripe red fruit up front, with pepper and alcohol coming thru on the mid palate. Over ripe but undeniably delicious

fairly translucent in glass, ruby red w purplish hue. jammy nose of blueberry, raspberry. palate of welch's grape jelly. noticeable heat, especially on the finish. solid but unremarkable. crowd pleaser.

Screwcapped. 14.5%. Soft purple colour. Perfumed nose, with notes of violets, hoi sin sauce and fruit pastilles. On the palate, a boiled sweet character with hints of liquorice. Very smooth mouthfeel with a bit of tannin near the finish, which was surprisingly long. Not a complicated wine, and slightly on the sweet side, but really lovely with the right sort of food.

Blend of Old-vine Grenache, Mataro(Mourvedre) and Shiraz. Exceptional value. Ripe succulent blend which I personally preferred to the Steading at half the price.

Allthough the wine is enjoyable enough, it doesnt really speak to me. Its all about sweet candiced fruit. Pure and somewhat wellmade, but just not very interesting. More of a softdrink than wine!

Raspberry, licorice and candied/jubey fruit. Very sweet fruit on the palate and I found it finishing short. The upfront appeal of the fruit isn't enough to sustain interest.

This wine is normally well-balanced. Always about the fruit with no oak but this year I think it's gone too far. The fruit is almost sickly sweet - raspberry, blueberry, plum, licorice and bit dose of sugar. Couldn't wait to move on to something different.

The nose had raspberry jam, smoke, tar, blueberry, and a little vanilla at the end. The palate was silky smooth, and had blueberry, raspberry, tar, allspice, and a nice smoke finish.

Enjoyed this more than some below - quite modern in style, certainly, but not overblown or overly fruity/jammy. Nice on an autumnal evening.

Not liking this at all; jam on the nose, and ... Cherry Coke on the palate. Sweet-tasting, maybe a bad bottle.

Ruby colour. A nose of plum in Madeira, port wine, and fruits. In the mouth it is pure port wine with extreme fruits. Nothing to balance..

Jammy full fruit - ripe plum almost subtle cotton candy, tinny mineral, spice, earth turns to green olive on a moderate finish.

Slightly musty concealed bouquet. Intense fruit and sugars, some tannin and acid balancing this. Complex flavours with cassis.
