Tremendous - right out of the shoot, this wine was complex, left open and tasted each hour for 3 hours and it evolved amazingly well - opened up, very smooth . was for my son's 21'st birthday which made it even more special. Perfectly paired with rich steaks.

Rich and quite young. It came along after lots of wines much older than it was even at 20 but it still seems to need more time to me. Some funky greenish notes. Doesn't seem to be a classic build with some soft yet rich fruit. Might be a time when they were changing styles or it could be a result of a mixed vintage. In any case, I'd leave this well along. We tried this after it was open probably two hours.

3 hour decant. In a percect place right now! Great balance and extra long finish. Still rocking 5 hours later! Dark cherry, plum and raspberry with light leather and mushrooms. Cherry and plum finish goes on forever..a truely fantastic bottle

Tuesday Night Double Blind Tasting, $40 and under (Bin 75): Pop n Pour. Deep, dark color. Heavy nose, dark fruit, coffee. Has tannin, seems more Old World in style. Has some oak, but French. I thought this was a young SuperTuscan, can't believe it's this old. Has plenty of time to go.

maybe a slightly flawed bottle, nothing negative. just not up to what the label promised. Nice roasted nuts, cocoa, dark fruits but lacking in complexity and depth, maybe I drank it too fast. I've got one more bottle.

Rich ripe blackberry nose upon decanting, 45 min later added some dark chocolate notes, 45 min later added cedar; Flavor 100% super ripe blackberries; flavors monolithic, like the Moonlight Sonata is played by a single instrument, or a Escher charcoal sketch is monochrome..., ; body concentrated and rich, smooth mature tannins; finish still showing a little greenness--- not at it's peak yet!! Wonderful wine

Wonderful cedar on the nose. This wine is starting to peak and will likely be there for a while. Soft tannins with elegant mid-palate of black fruits. Nice earthy notes as well. Beautiful finish. I have only had this from two vintages, but it is becoming one of my favorite vineyards.

Still in good shape. Others thought it to be a newly released wine.
Good fruit, body, and length.

ok, not great. Had with cheese and sliced meats. Finish was poor, lots of fruits, no tannins, a liitle pruney.
