  • Lovely, albeit not the flavour profile I had anticipated, though having never tried a Wickhams or any Yarra Riesling before, not sure why I had any expectations. Green apple, both the fruit itself and an additional sorbet character on the finish. Body, weight. Touch of green herbs, which in the presence of the almost lactic body reminds me of Frankfurter Grüne Sosse. Heaps of length. Frankly I could drink this by the pint glass, though it is far too fine to deserve such treatment. Wouldn’t argue with 93.
