1-2 hrs of air required. Beautifully balanced, smooth well integrated tannins, long finish, plenty of acid to go with a rich body for a very rewarding experience. Black fruit, ripe plums, tobacco, licorice, earth.

This felt manipulated, disjointed, and hot. There is also a bit of chemical like influence that distracted me about it and kept drawing my focus. Most likely wood related...Pass.

Medium Ruby/Purple. Offers blackberry, dried cherry, clay pot, black olive, jalapeno and a hint of oak. The promisingly complex bouquet is not backed up on the palate, which is very simple, very primary. All dark cherry with just a touch of anise.

Dark nearly opaque crimson color with billowing and beguiling aromas of cassis, black cherry, anise, pencil shavings, cacao and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it's approaches full-bodied, and has an elegant, harmonious character with lively acidity and well integrated velvety tannins with cassis, ripe black cherry, black plum, dark chocolate, black licorice, vanilla and a hint of blueberry confit with a long, lush finish. Blend of 92% CS, 5% CF and 3% PV aged 22 months in 10% French oak (80% new). 14.1% abv|SRP - $75|1,700 cs|Sample

Nice California crowd pleaser. Fruit forward, light oak. Tho I do agree with the comment re synthetic wood addition.

Very good. Subtle elegance, not overbearing at all.

Similar to other notes already here. Nice easy drinker.
Might be a nice wine to introduce “grocery store” wine drinkers to the joys of “real” wine.
