  • Deep red colour with an almost plummy bouquet. On the palate it’s lighter weight than I expected with the flavours more subdued but refined - red berries even a hint of strawberry with subtle oak. Very fine tannins for a relatively young wine.

  • Very happy to have bitten on the hype of this. Absolutely mental QPR at ~$20 a bottle. This is elegant, classy. It’s labelled as Cabernet but has minor percentages of the usual bordeaux varietals to fill out the mix. I find cabernets sometimes tannic and unapproachable this young, but this is really enjoyable now. Put half the bottle under preservation for a week and it’s still rock solid. Good flavour depth and long. Bodes well for the future.
