On the nose: cherry, dried mushroom, crushed blackberry. On the palate: luxardo cherry, but without the sugar, cola, bacon fat. Mild acid, and little tannin. Drink now, and don’t wait much longer.

Opened last night. Medium-dark red. Rather shy nose. Better intensity in the mouth, with good cherry fruit that lingers. A bit one-dimensional, but on that dimension it shines. Pure, unadulterated fruit. Seems better than the last bottle, as well it should, since I was probably suffering palate fatigue. 5-11-16-8: 90/100.

Good for the money. Nothing to get too excited about.
