Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. This wine smelled and tasted absolutely horrible. Your wine should never smell or taste like Sauerbraten. Avoid this wine.
After recently tasting the Chardonnay from this same winery that smelled and tasted like a cat pee soaked dish towel I'm going to guess there are some material wine making issues at this winery. I cannot recommend this winery at all.
