ruby color; cumquat, clove, cinnamon and pine nuts on the nose; well-rounded tannins, cigar box, molasses, black fruit, black cherry, raisins; long finish. Could be at it's peak now.

Based on a couple bottles. This is a great everyday drinking wine. It opens up as a little oaky in the nose, almost a burnt oak. On the first night, the wine opens up and goes well with dinner. Lots of structure and good acidity. Most of the tasting notes below are accurate so no contradictions from me. Saved a glass for the next day and it held up well. It's a very good wine, but not great. By all means buy it if you can find it, but it is in a wide open drinking window.

It got better and better. Decanted and gave it about an hour. Bold with well managed tannins. Could use a bit longer in the cellar, but a really nice wine.

Well-built, with savory cherry, dried sage and spice flavors that persist toward polished tannins. 1st of 2 bottles in the cellar. Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Hour and a half decant, this is a big, bold bottle loaded with dark fruit and oak, with enough acidity and tannic structure to keep it tame enough to enjoy the alcohol level it runs at.

Medium ruby colour. Medium intensity aroma of blueberry, eucalyptus, pepper. Dry, medium+ tannin but softened, medium alcohol, medium- acidity. Medium body. Medium intensity flavour of blueberry, blackberry, eucalyptus, black pepper. Medium finish.

Depending on how you like your BIG red blends, this one is ready to go, or could go back into the cellar for 2-3 years. BIG but primary flavors, the fruit is black and red, the other aromas and flavors are a bit woody (the highest quality cedar!) and maybe spicy (pepper?). Give good ol' Uriah some air and he'll host a nice party for sure, look at him all dressed up for you!

Currants highlight a dark fruit profile. Pepper emerges in the glass from the Cab Franc. This is a pleasing, but subtly complex Uriah that is drinking well in a contemplative way.

Easy drinking red blend. Dried herb and menthol aromas. Medium body, flavors dominated by Merlot with black cherries, licorice and menthol. Nothing to blow your socks off but also enough going for it to be enjoyable for the whole bottle.

Dark fruit nose. Presenting like a typical WW AVA cab with big bold presence in the opening and a slightly off mid note that lingers with heat.

Dark fruits: currants, cranberries. Acidic, low tannins. OK with food, disappointing on its own. Might improve with age?
