A cheeky white with Italian heritage was my challenge for lunch. Pinot Gris / Grigio was as close as I could find. Still holding that pink gold colour mentioned in 2016. Closed, restricted bouquet giving little away. Soft, dry, cleansing. Flinty.

Bought three bottles and tipped most of it down the sink. The first bottle I had a few years ago was so tart I struggled to drink more than a couple of sips, even after it had been open for over a day. Second bottle a year later was the same. Third bottle last week had developed some bruised apple flavour, but was still very tart. Disappointing as I love their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

I found this disappointing. All the components are there, the floral notes, the musk etc but the acid is too prominent. It's like biting into a Granny Smith on steroids.
I'm saying 89++ as I reckon it could be a lot better in a few years.

Pink-gold, lovely and fruity but wish it had a bit more acid structure. However for drinking right now it's great, and as far as Pinot Gris goes it's delicious.

Colour of rose tea. Consistent with prior bottles. Good mouthfeel. Flinty finish. Good for Thai tonight.

Pink gold in colour. Delicious once you get over the surprise of the dryness. Reminds me of a Rose d'anjou.
