I served this in my wine course. French oak nose mostly, with some faint pineapple with coaxing. A touch hollow in the center, then returning to tropical fruit and mostly spicy oak in the finish.

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor of melon, cloves, and vanilla oak with some mineral notes. Quite good balance and nuance with a fairly long finish. Very pleasant and a complement to the crawfish etouffee.

Nose of spring flowers, butterscotch, smoke-like Fume, and minerals, same on the palate, medium body, showing its age, lots of smoke, subtle fruit, and minerals, a little boring, and a long, long finish, time to drink upo quickly.

Light hue, slight aromatics, long lasting on the palate. Let it breathe for about 15-30 mins in glass. More buttery than acidic, though little bit acidic on follow through. Very nice wine, great value for $60 or so. Compares well to a Kistler.

Wow, this is just a lovely, lovely California chardonnay, the best for me in recent memory. Very much on the yellow side of the color spectrum, with nice legs. Really pretty nose, with rather exotic tropical fruit, albeit with a light touch. Ethereal. The mouth is otherworldly, with hints of butter, coconut, and banana and papaya. Very deft use of oak and acid, just enough to lend structure and backbone. But really delicate. This walks the tightrope between huge flavor and delicacy. They really pulled it off well with this wine. Drinking very, very well right now, so why wait? 4-12-17-9: 92/100.

A pale yellow color with a little cloudiness. Vibrant citrus nose. Initial sip has caramel flavors dominating. Vanilla, melon and overall a very clean flavor profile. In between cali and france. Really like the freshness.

Toned down and well balanced, this chardonnay is Burgundian in style with crisp minerality, melon, pear and a hint of salinity. Low key with just a hint of oak, this is a pleasant sipper.

At Martinelli this morning to pick up some Jackass Vineyard, nose of spring flowers-mums, butterscotch, smoke, and minerals, same on the palate, medium body, almost elegant, White Burgundy like in a way, very tasty, mouth filling fruit and a long, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste, at its peak and probably will fade away the next 3 years.

More yellow than gold. Nose is dominated by Juicy Fruit gum aroma. Not much different on the palate. For a wine from this winery, it is much more simple and primary than I expected. Have to say I am disappointed. Parker 96? Please. 4-11-15-8: 88/100.

Excellent -- so well balanced. Pear. Citrus. Light Oak. A little heat. Just well constructed. Enjoyed with lemon chicken. Great winery and wine.
