Pale lemon yellow. Striking refreshing palate of lemon and nectarine. It’s the bracing acidity that is remarkable. Really fresh style of Chardonnay. Lovely finish. Bargain. Excellent

Lovely balanced Chardonnay, age has helped but it is still youthful and exciting. Not a powerhouse but perfectly matched to the winemaking. Wish I had more.

A great example of a cool climate aged chardonnay from the Yarra Valley. Taking notes and buttery flavours. Enjoyed with a lamb chops and an orange sauce. Great complement for the acidity of the sauce.

No way that one would pick this as New World in a blind tasting. A hint of reduction, exactly the kind you find in white Burgundy. It’s gentle, unforced and round, all about finesse. Lively but smoother, less tight than the French cousins. Could be a good (but not superstar) Villages. Not too complex, but complete and so easy to drink. Lovely.
Pale gold. No variation. Nose too hard to pick. Straight down the line with a low-moderate intensity acidity but long in length. Picked up the oak very lightly right at the end. Smooth

Just ripe nectarine, apricot, fresh fennel fronds. Acidity is somewhat disjointed however these Hoddles Creek wines are always better 2-3 years from release so I have every expectation this will be even better with time.

Lovely example of an aged Chardonnay. Buttery and oak flavours come to the fore. Drinking very well.

Well balanced but lacked intensity. Good value for the price.

Lean but full of flavour. White peach, lemon, a tiny bit of creaminess and a stoney/minerally finish. Such good value!

Sodt and approachable, hints of flint and nectarine, little simple at this stage come back in 2-3 years I think
