  • While I enjoyed the wine and found the length and texture appealing, it was a bit too tart and cherry dominant tonight for me not to be a bit disappointed. Some of it might be the dinner which wasn’t a match, and also from other notes longer air time might have been called for, but the restaurant was extremely slow and 80 minutes in glass wasn’t enough to markedly improve.

  • Initially, reticent, lightly tart.
But give it time and you get herbaceous, loamy-spicy notes plus fruit in a refreshing, interesting, flavorful glass of Burgundian pleasure.

Each night I tried this (on Coravin) it woke up, revealing more and becoming more welcoming, with the fruit coming forward more and more. Riper, louder fruit-forward wines tend to eclipse this one and yet...THIS is the glass you keep going back to

Remarkable example of how some wines evolve and improve over time in the glass and over a couple of nights.

  • The bouquet showed floral red berries, cherry, hints of herbs and dark earth. On the palate, it was lift--almost juicy-- with fresh red berry and inner floral tones. The finish was long on strawberry, herbs and mouthwatering acidity.
