Medium golden yellow. Really juicy on the nose with layers of citrus and stone fruits. Followed with some smokiness and hay. Great acidity (7/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Great structure on the palate with some straw, oak, stone fruits, lemon and some minerality. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2021.

Insanely good showing. Perfectly deft, varietally correct, exquisite balance. For me, the only flaw was the somewhat limited aromatics which might improve with more age. This tastes like pure, clean, minerally driven chardonnnay. Beautiful finish. One could forget they are drinking a near perfect expression.. Way to go Ehran!

Beautiful depth from the nose through the finish. A bit more acidic than many Chardonnays but still has good balance. A great drink for dinner and the evening.

94+ at Gary and Judy's: Pop and pour. The nose is nice and classic California chardonnay - lemon, butter, oak, toffee. The palate is quite acidic. Tart. The finish is incredibly acidic. It makes me think this producer wanted to dial back the oak/richenss, and they dialed it back too far.

TWE wine dinner in Raleigh. Light and pale yellow. Earth minerals and melon, some glycerin, and for my personal taste I would have liked a little more crispness, but if you are after low acid this may really be in your wheelhouse.

Quite fresh and balanced at this stage. Still has some youthful exuberance.

Decanted one hour.
Nose: pear, mango, orange peel. River Rock, some feint caramel and butterscotch candy.
Taste: candied apple, lychee, melon. The caramel and butterscotch is very apparent on the the palate. Also, salt water taffy.
Medium body and finish.
For me, this was a standout in the Failla tasting. It had and still has a lot of character.

Triangle Wine Experience 2016 Dinner - Poole's Diner - Domaine de la Cote, Sandhi & Failla wineries with Rajat Parr (Poole's - Raleigh): Totally different mouth feel and viscosity than the Sandhi Chard. More fruit. Less acid. Melon, pear, Apple, mango. More viscous. Still liked it, but clearly from relatively warmer climate fruit (Coombsville).
Triangle Wine Experience 2016 Dinner - Poole's Diner
Dish: Shrimp, clam, crab dish w/spaghetti squash
This round I preferred the 2013 Sandhi Sanford & Benedict Chard from magnum

Lemon verbena, honeydew melon, slight butteriness. Creamy texture with nice oakiness. Very pleasant.

This wine is creamy and bright with fruit and just the right amount of oak. Drinking beautifully now, but will likely get even better.
