  • Drank very well with very tasty, grillled rib-eyes and roasted veggies. We also drank a 2000 Cantemerle along this and both went well with the food. This characteristically represented Napa with some sweetness, vanilla, and subtle ripe fruits. Ala Lede, the texture was smooth as silk and rolled across the palate with elegant finesse, at all points. (It was preferred by our friends, who even though they collect wine, I now believe prefer more-primary wines.) At $63, it's a fair QPR and is drinking well now. While not an expert on the ageability of Lede's, I think the CT drinking window of '14-'19 is reasonable.
