Yellow color with no fruit left, only oak with some harsh notes in the finish. This bottle was clearly over the hill, and much different than earlier bottles tasted.

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor dominated by toast and vanilla with a bit of the wonderful butterscotch that is so intriguing in great Chardonnays. Not pronounced enough to elevate it to the highest status and otherwise a bit shy on fruit, but still a very nice wine with some nuance and a moderate finish. I would drink it now.

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor of citrus and toasty oak, but lacking the butterscotch richness of a truly inspired Chardonnay. Fair balance with nice acidity, but the wine needed more depth and a longer finish. I have found recent vintages of Martinelli Chardonnay rather disappointing. I would drink this wine up over the next few months.

Rich, buttery, a little oak, and lovely balance. Even though it seems there's a trend towards a more Burgundian style in Chardonnay, for me this hits the spot perfectly - it's not overdone in any way. Glad I have more.

Once again, enthralled...oak notes, but lemon on the palate. Full bodied, with a rich, buttery mouth feel. A bit of heat right now...but it is hard for me to keep my hands off these. Complex, spicy flavors and a long finish.

Pleasant blend of cream, baked apple, lemon, and moderate oak. A little bloated — a little too California — but still enjoyable to my tastes.

Nice wine, more buttery than not. Had with crock pot chicken lemon piccata over zucchini noodles
