This particular bottle is a testament to cellar aging good Pinots. Tart strawberry and sour cherry on the front with just the right amount of acid, just grabbed your attention. Still with a smooth sweet middle and a delicate sweet velvet tannin finish. From the first glass, first taste it impressed. I have enjoyed this wine in the past but nearly as much as this bottle having about 6 years of bottle age. I will drink nicely for another 4+yrs.

Light purple garnet with a clear rim. Spice cherry and dusty. Palate is smooth cherry spice and great acid. Silky tannins and a long finish. Drink in the next year.

Light garnet to light purple with a clear rim. Bright cherry cola and spice nose. Cherry and cedar with hints of chocolate on the Palate. Good long finish but not too busy.

Medium body with light flavored grape and a nice smooth tannic finish. Tart cherries and strawberries. Ate this with a fried chicken with heavy black pepper and the wine picked up the spice in the middle but went nicely with the dish.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of earth, berries and plums. Flavors of berries, raspberries and cranberries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the shorter term.
My guess was this is a recent vintage of California Pinot Noir. No idea as to producer.
This wine came in 7th place out of 14 wines with 10 tasters participating giving an average score of 90.55.

This bottle was generally consistent with my previous tasting notes. We had this wine before a heavy beef meal with which we had a Cab accompaniment. A taste of this PN after dinner about 1 1/2 hours after opening and the cherry had become even more bright and luxurious and the finish was silky and smooth... even better than when first opened. I expect this wine will show best with aeration or decanting.

Typical of young Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, it required air. Much improved on day 2 & 3. The wine is violet colored with aromas of red currant and cherry. It tastes of black cherry. Medium body with a nice finish. The wine has enough acidity to cellar 6 years.

This wine is on the high side of medium body with lots of fruit and a nice tart cherry on the tongue. Finish has a long medium tannin that shows tart and a bit of nice oak at the end. I liked this style a lot. Had a good bit of crystals in the last glass. Wine has only been in my cellar for three weeks so I hope to see some more development as it has time to settle in.

Rather thin. Don't think it will get any better. Drinking my half case over the next 6 months.

Too young, typical AV notes, but acidity and alcohol overblows.
