Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of talc, flowers, berries and plums. Flavors of berries, plums and cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

Simple, but rich, robust, and voluptuous. This wine exhibits flavors of blackberry, black pepper and oak, and has lots of body, with well-integrated tannins. Very Sonoma-ish; in the style of a Helen Turley Zinfandel. It's a pretty-if-slightly-overfed-high-school-cheerleader of a Syrah. Not my style (I prefer Northern Rhones), but my wife loved it, and most of our wine club will also love it, I suspect.

A very well made wine that I was able to purchase for the very reasonable price of $22 delivered on Last Bottle. I purchased this blind (no ratings on CT) based on the fact that we love the chardonnay produced by the same winery also purchased from Last Bottle. Not a "big" wine but well made and drinking great right now after an hour decant. Syrah is not a popular variety now but we love it.

Nice medium to full-bodied Syrah with good fruit and some grippy tannin but still pretty smooth anyway especially for the good price. Great QPR
