Medium dark ruby with a light ripe strawberry nose. Smooth and soft with a nice balance of acid on the front followed by well integrated tannins. Medium tart red berry fruit, calcareous earthy mineral, sorrel, balsam and cane pith tannins. Not overly complex, but a very refreshing wine, drinking well with food or a casual drink. Became softer and smoother over several days open.

Opened three days ago and had a sip each night. nothing really grabbed me, but tonight has opened up giving some tart red berry, medium fruit and body with some cane tannins. Dark ruby with a light bramble nose. Somewhat restrained and well balanced, pomegranates and red currants, some strawberries round out the fruit flavors with a little sour sorrel tossed in for good measure. All said after waiting a few days, this has become a very satisfying, refreshing daily drinker with an acid focus that floats my boat. Even better on the next night. No hurry here.

Another beautiful wine. I drank this with the 2013. This was tighter with less nuance and spice and more berry fruit. Still a great wine that I will buy again, if available. The 2013 is better, but this is still very good indeed.
Dark ruby with ripe strawberries, raspberries on the nose. Open a day and the fruit has blossomed with cherries, raspberries and cranberries, just a hint of spritz. Medium bold fruit with a nice acid for balance, some metallic mineral leading to lightly integrated stemmy blackberry cane tannins. Drinking pleasantly now and should be nicely rewarded with more time in the bottle. I love the tart fruit. Enjoy after giving a little time to open.

Medium ruby with light earthy cherry nose. Dry with light mineral, tart red berry with some lemon and blood orange, light fruit and body, some light tannins. Balanced more toward the acid side on the second night.

A year of age helped (or perhaps bottle variation). More rounded and doesn't need as much air. Raspberry and purple flavor. Tannins very faint. Good drinker
Notes made on bottle that was open for 24 hrs. Color is dark ruby with a slight brick tinge, about 80% opaque with quick clear legs and no sediment. Profound aroma starts at a distance with a touch of maple and then quickly transitions to red berry and flower notes. Underneath are savory spices and a little green herb. Light-medium body with a gentle entry and cool mouthfeel. Good depth and more complexity than expected at the $-point. Development really took off after about 2 hours open, so a good splash decant seems reasonable. Clean, medium length finish. I really don't find anything to not like here. 5+11+16+8 = 90

perfectly OK. Very light color. Very light nose - strawberry and cranberry. Palate is metallic and a little watery. It's just ok for me. Much preferred other vintages from lia's vineyard over this one. Doesn't invite contemplation or discussion. Still, very drinkable for low $20s.

Similar experience in that started out acidic, a bit metallic. But over the course of two days really opened up to a very nice medium bodied wine with lasting finish. Well balanced and for under $30 a real treat.

Started off quite acidic, but rounded out very nicely with air. Very much representative of the 2011 vintage, but an easy drinker. Starts off with muted strawberry and raspberry flavors. Like many good Oregon pinots, it makes me think "purple." There's a hint of minerality on the end with a short finish. Not the most complex OR pinot, but very tasty.

A lovely, quaffable Oregon pinot. Shows the vintage character with a light body and strong acidity, but there's plenty of bright red fruit to back it up. Not super complex, but very pleasant and easy to drink. A winner.

Darker color than expected. Very restrained for a new world wine. Took an hour to open up. Nice acidity, juicy.

Amazing value for the money ($20). Nice, tart red fruit, medium/light bodied, hints of a number spices. Should have bought a case of this.
