A sensational bottle of wine I’m in polite disagreement with Motz below (I’ve been a fan of hisn superlative palate for years). This bottle showed beautiful integration of wood, fruit, tannn, acid and age. For me it is drinking at its apogee for pleasure. I enjoyed Great saline and leesy fruit character with that crisp texture reminiscent of riesling.
1 bottle left and fully intend to reward myself with consumption in the next 9-12 mos-if I can find it. Who’s with me?

Excessive wood, next to the same vintage La Source, detracts from the whole. Too much wood, even by heavily oaked Burgundy standards. A delicious bottle of wine, by any measure. Drink or hold for several years. 93-94.

Excellent character in the class with honey color. Slightly muted with lemon flavors. Not sure if I waited too long or not long enough. Cork looked good.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of spice, ricola, citrus and mixed yellow fruits. Flavors of lemon, peach wasser and pears. Tangy acidity, medium body. Drink over the short term. My guess was this is a 2012 Oregon Chardonnay.

Tasted alongside the 2010 La Source over three days. An excellent wine, elegant even, revealing excellent purity of fruit and terroir. Overall, though arguably more charming than the La Source, it does not deliver the same exhilarating punch or bracing structure. For this style of wine I prefer Burgundy.

Tasted twice, upon opening around midday, then with dinner. This is a ridiculously interesting wine, intensely juicy, showing kumquat, gooseberry, tangerine, florals, impression of ocean salinity, and kiss of dry mead. Exceptional weight, balance, and texture. It changes inflection beautifully. Massively structured, palate-coating, and very long. My impression is that the more affordable 2010 La Source is every bit as good, or better, but was able to enjoy the La Source over three days. Will have to sample both side-by-side, in the name of science of course.

pale lemon
Flinty, immediate "burg" characteristics, steely, minerally, This nose is all white burgundy
Same flintiness here, citrus rather than stone fruit, grapefruit, slightly dirty, lemon, very precise
Very interested to see if this softens and develops in a few years
