Moderate sediment Just a hint of color variation at the rim Lush rich Napa cab, dark berry and some vanilla This is quite good and better on day 2. Decant or hold

Ruby edge, deep red/black core. Nose is dominated by intense red fruit, vanilla and oaky character, and some slightly bitter character in the nicest way. Baking spice and and herbaceous quality emerge over time. This is medium to full bodied with moderate acidity and fine grained tannin. The finish is the most impressive part of this at the moment, it’s seemingly never ending. The wine is drinking great, but that slightly bitter character makes me think it’s almost ready to go to sleep for 5+ years. Those who are patient enough will be rewarded.

This is nice. A bit too much vanilla at this stage. Think it will integrate with another 3-5yrs cellaring.
Now it needs at least 2hr decant.

Excellent wine. Still a bit closed after 2 hour decant. Hold another couple of years.

Big wine, classic Stag's Leap. Dark fruit, minerals, herbs, and tannins that could use a little time to settle. Has the structure to keep.

Blind tasted amongst 71 Napa cabs. Nice but linear, black fruit, spice. Needs time to develop.
