Light straw colored, crisp and clean bright acidity with smooth nicely balanced complex aromas and flavors of pear, peach, lychee fruit, with a layer of lime zest with a flinty minerality on a lingering finish. A perfect accompaniment to grilled lobster tails with drawn butter.
Clean, bright. Lychee and a hint of tarragon aroma, also a soft tropical floral quality. Medium+ acid; medium body with a silky texture. Lychee, rich gold grapefruit, herbal finish. Delicious.

Now three years old, this Sauvignon Blanc has developed some complexity but has not lost its freshness. Lemon peel, chervil, wet stone and lavender aromas are followed by a light-to-medium-bodied, crisp palate with similar flavors. The alcohol (listed as 14.3%) is nicely integrated. Solid in the middle and concluding long, this wine is clearly in its "sweet spot." Drink now-2016.

Pale golden color, nice balance of fruit and acidity. A bit of grapefruit, citrus and a touch of lemon on the palate. Probably my favorite Sauvignon blanc.

Served as white wine #1 at last year's wine group dinner. Not overly grassy, I really enjoyed this style, as did everyone else. Picked up 3 more bottles today @$12.99

Brown Bag Wine Dinner at Two Chefs (TWO CHEFS, MIAMI, FL): Bob's wine and his winery note from February. "98% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Semillon, 1% Muscadelle. The 2011 vintage began with a wet and cool winter that extended into spring. The heavy spring rains and cool temperature lasted until late June. Many vineyards were dry farmed, or watered only once during the season further oncentrating the fruit. A portion of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit is sourced from a vineyard in the southeastern hills of Napa Valley. This vineyard resides on an ancient, weathered alluvial fans of silty impoverished soils that contribute an intense brightness and mineral austerity. In addition we include fruit from 2 delightful cooler climate vineyards on the east side of Napa. This source imparts vibrant acidity and finesse to the wine. Another source located in eastern Rutherford, provides density, richness, and tropical notes through the Musque clone and Semillon.A new source is located in Chiles Valley, a small pocket in eastern Napa Valley, contributing Sauvignon Blanc and old vine Muscadelle to the blend. Pear, lime zest, and apricot blossom aromas awaken the senses. The mid-palate expands into a rich and long finish. Melon and lychee are supported by flinty minerality, making this wine a perfect pairing for spicy dishes."
The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. It smells like lemon, lime, pear, oak and chrysanthemum. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. A tad heavy for SB, I thought it Arneis. Bob's wine.

Great Californian Sauvignon Blanc. Notes of lychee fruit, melon, and citrus. Light and crisp but not overly acidic. Good for a Californian sauv blanc though.

Straw color with a slightly grassy aroma, I found warm pear and yellow apple flavors that persist nicely on the palette. There are also grassy and herbal flavors that blend in on the slightly creamy finish to add complexity. A solid warm climate Sauvignon Blanc.

In a good way this wine strikes me as more New Zealand than Napa given pineapple, pear and citrus notes versus some of the green grass of California...very nice summer sauvignon blanc.
