Decant is helpful to balance it. After 24 hours, still drinkable nevertheless a little flat. It probably will not improve much, but can hold for quite a while.

My last bottle, and much better than the previous one. It started out showing some nice sweet red fruits and unlike my previous bottle it held up well over an hour of drinking, never seeming to oxidize. It paired well with a spicy chicken dish that was made with taco sauce and mustard.

A little disappointing, especially after a 2012 Martinelli I drank a week earlier (Zio Tony) which was fabulous. Drank with awesome home made crab cakes, this was good, but didn't live up to its higher ranked brother. Light, flavorful and good drinking, but a hint of jamminess made it feel like it's starting to fade. Drink soon.

Blind tasting, 15 people. All of the wine bottle labels were covered with tape, and we had 2 bottles of each of the following, in order: 2009 Martinelli Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard Sea Ridge Meadow, 2013 Martinelli Syrah Vellutini Ranch, 2010 The Table Pinot Noir, 2010 Martinelli Pinot Noir Bondi Home Ranch Water Trough Vineyard, and the 2011 Martinelli Pinot Noir Moonshine Ranch. All of the wines were opened, but not decanted 30 minutes before we started trying them. The last wine was probably open for 90 minutes before we tried it. The Table Pinot was poured into empty Martinelli bottles, to make ID'ing them harder, so those wines got a little more air.
This started out so well. But as it sat in the glass, and got exposed to air, it really broke down. This was the first wine of the night, so most of us drank it before it had a chance to oxidize. I only have one bottle left, and I plan on drinking it soon.

Shockingly underwhelming, especially compared to every other Martinelli I've had that is so expressive. Proper structure, but seemed to lack complexity. I had once it was open for several hours, was that too long...?

crystal clear light garnet ruby, some light almost smoky cherry cola licorice flavors. Seemingly a much lighter style than typical Martinellis, with lower alcohol (13.5%). Very pinot, but blind I would've picked Oregon instead of RRV.

Delightful! Nice nose, lighter style, fruit still present. Well balanced, short but clean finish. Nice acid. Very food friendly.

Light cranberry in appearance. Did not decant which was a big mistake. Underwhelming until the final glass. Very nice following plenty of time. 89-91.

Chose for Thanksgiving wine. Perfect choice with turkey.

Like drinking desert. Big cherry at the front, long finish. Loved it and did not let it sit before drinking.

Double decanted. Aromatic and lighter than the 09 Talley Rosemary's. Drinks beautifully now, question it's ageabilty?
