Medium-dark color, deep-red showing a tinge of rust color at this age. The wine is off-dry. Right out of the bottle, medium fruit intensity with a nose of smoke, bacon and hints of ripe cherries. With some swirling I got a nose of mushroom. This is a full-bodied wine with supple tannins and a surprisingly long finish for Pinot Noir.

lighter in color, but still ruby. A little weird upon opening, not a funk but almost a metallic fragrance that blew off within 15 minutes changing to a light minerally cherry and red fruit driven nose. On the palate an elegant pinot from the initial red fruits to the light acidity on the back end. Nice alone but went well with the Bistro food. Very easy to drink and a solid qpr from winebid.

Served at a 4th of July dinner. Quick notes: served as the first PN of the meal, of the three this was the most pleasurable. Easy drinking wine with lots of fruit. Good.

One of the clear winners at Pinot Days in NYC. Showed excellent ripeness, plush texture, full body and rich alchohol, yet maintained racy acidity that kept it all fresh on the finish. And a pretty good value as well.

Solid performer. Not particularly complex. Bit of smokiness on the finish.

Delicious, but not as intense as last few bottles.

Another delicious bottle - developing more spice notes than previously.

Red Carpet: Zesty, a little stemmy, beaujolais frt nose; liter, lean, bitter fin. This stinks.
