Friday, February 9, 2024 - Holding up beautifully aged 24!

Ripe red cherries, ripe cranberries, smoked meat, green bell pepper, and marshmallow on nose. Intensity of aromas is medium +. Palate adds some oak influences - tobacco and cedar - but also, much more interestingly, eucalyptus and black licorice. Rounded, yet complex, with a high intensity of flavors.

Medium + body with great acid. Tannins are declining. Finishes nice and long. Fully developed, drink now. Varietally correct for Merlot. Great pairing with a porterhouse.
