Monday, March 8, 2010 - Screwcapped. 14.5%. Soft purple colour. Perfumed nose, with notes of violets, hoi sin sauce and fruit pastilles. On the palate, a boiled sweet character with hints of liquorice. Very smooth mouthfeel with a bit of tannin near the finish, which was surprisingly long. Not a complicated wine, and slightly on the sweet side, but really lovely with the right sort of food.
