Saturday, March 16, 2013 - A Saturday at Linden (Linden Vineyards - Linden, VA): Gorgeous, layered, and exceedingly complex aromas of dried apricots, candied citrus peel, white flowers, poached orchard fruit, and beeswax. The palate is wonderfully concentrated and filled with smokey peaches, tropical fruits, lavender, and honeysuckle. Fresh, lively acidity lifts finishing elements of dried tropical fruits, cinnamon, and ripe tangerine. This is one of the finest Late Harvest Vidal that we have tasted form Linden.
