Saturday, April 4, 2015 - OUTSTANDING!! Had this with short ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy. Was concerned this may have passed its peak and it HAS NOT! Beautiful dense dark color. I can't describe the nose, but unlike lots of wine that have none, or limited aroma, this was extremely pleasant. The tannins were not gone but silky and fully integrated and balanced. The wine coats the pallette with a wonderful mouthfeel and finishes with a subtle mocha flavor. I don't remember ever ranking a Sonoma wine this high but this is one of the best and I only wish I had more. Winemaker Tim Harden should be extremely proud of this wine.
